Recording at the Snape Maltings

I recently had the oppurtunity to record Beethoven at the wonderful Snape Maltings Concert Hall. It was founded by composer Benjamin Britten and George Gooderham. It was opened in 1967 by HM Queen Elizabeth. This became the home of the Aldeburgh Festival and a venue internationally renowned for the superb quality of its acoustic.

Sonata op 31 no 3 is one of my favourite works by Beethoven, and to record at such a historic and beautiful venue was a great honour for me!
